City/Zip Code Lookup

Posting and dispatching orders to external load boards, require that both the Origin and Destination zip codes are valid zip codes recognized by the external load board. 

When a user attempts to post an order without a valid origin or destination zip code, BATS will prom[t the user to update the zip code prior to posting to an external load board. 

Below is a sample message the user will see when attempting to post and order with an invalid zip code. As you can see in this particular case the origin zip code is invalid. 



To update the origin zip code, navigate to the Route section in the order and click the arrow next to the Origin.



If you need help identifying the correct zip code, you can use the Zip Lookup tool built into BATS. To use the Zip Lookup tool click "Zip Lookup"




If you know the first few digits of the zip code you can begin by typing those digits into the Postal/Zip Code Search, as you type the number a list of options matching the criteria will be displayed.



Alternatively you can lookup the approprite zip code by typing the city name into the "City Search" field.




Once you have identified the correct Zip code in the list of suggestions, Close the Zip Lookup tool,
then update the order with the correct zip code.




You can now post the order to an external load board.
