You will need to set up a new lead source in BATS for every lead provider or website that is sending leads to BATS system for your company.
To do so, log into your BATS system and navigate to Setup > Sources.
Click on "New" button, then enter a name and description for this lead source, set Source Type to "Lead Source" and enter the lead cost. Screen should look similar to this:
In the next section you can select a lead provider from the dropdown list, if they are listed in BATS directory. This simply enters all the contact information for the lead source so that you don't have to type it in. This is a convenient place to keep this contact information so that you can refer to it later. You can also type in the contact information if the lead provider is not yet listed in our directory.
After your select, or manually enter, the information, it should look similar to this:
You should always enter at least the email address for the lead source contact so that you can send them the instructions on how to send the leads to BATS.
Select a Sales Campaign that should be sent when a lead comes in from this Lead Source. This tells BATS which emails to automatically send on new Leads from this source.
Next, click "Save", then open the newly created lead source. You will see a button at the bottom of the page labeled "Send Instructions Email". Clicking this button will send all the instructions that are needed by the lead source to send the leads to your BATS system.
That's it, your lead provider will receive all the necessary information that they need so that they can send leads to BATS for your organization.
