Why am I seeing unusually high numbers in the count of email events on Quote page
Sometimes you will notice that your Quote is showing an unusually high numbers in the Email Event Summary section as shown in the screenshot below:
This screenshot is showing that 2 emails were sent to the customer, but it is showing 486 "open" events for those 2 emails. As you can see it also shows 2 "delivered" events. This situation can happen with some email clients or services which report events every time that the user's inbox is refreshed or opened. In other words, every time the customer opens their email app on their phone, or refreshes their Inbox in a web browser, their email service provider will report that as an "open" event. This is a problem with those email service providers or apps and is not something that we can fix in BATS. Workaround for this issue is to just accept the fact that the customer has seen your email and understand that the count can sometimes be skewed.
